A Classic 'Grey'

I have always thought that things that are mostly complicated in this world like politics, technology, ideologies, religion could never be fit into black/white. They are far away from human comprehension and are more about the 'Grey' (Very excited about this concept and named my blog the same long ago). Story of Oppenheimer is one such classic example. I was very biased in the beginning about his ideas and ethical stands but then one should not judge someone knowing bits and pieces. Of the little knowledge that I have acquired later, he is a realist towards science and had a more humane approach towards his creations ethically. He is definitely an idealist thinking that achieving something big would bring him the power to control its after effects too.

Maybe he believed in morality way too much, concerned less about how bad people could turn. He never fought back against the people who tried to pin him down. Neither in his childhood, nor later. Reason remaining unknown. I have a huge respect for him for not appologizing for what he have created and how badly he wanted to stop its after effects. He drew a perfect balance between professionalism and humanity. He hardly complained about the odds and utilized everything that is available within his limits. He stood up for his loved ones even staking his own life maybe.  I could not stop drawing parallels between a similar incident (Mr.Nambi Narayanan).

They say that science/technology is a double edged sword but little did we are well aware of the fact that it is very much influenced by the politics which is unfortunately passing into the religion lately. Humanity uses the science to possible extent but respects it very minimally.

(P.S: Got one more reason to hate Western Bureaucrats & Politicians)
